You should put it on a flag base, because it will need anchoring down. Alternatively, if you must put it on gravel, you should pour some concrete anchor points at each corner to allow it to be fixed down.

if shed is 1 of those small sheet metal sheds about 12 x12 or so u can set it on ground if u like but grave for drainage is a good idea. it may require a season leveling if exactly level is important to u
