I'm painting you inside of my garden shed? What color should I paint the walls and door?

I'm painting the inside of my garden shed. It will be used as a retreat and has a cot inside for naps. The shed has no windows. Currently the shed door and walls have been sanded and ready to be painted. Inside there are two lights. I would want the door painted a color that I could look at if I have to close it.

Currently the inside of the door is wood as is the walls. I want to paint the walls a cool and comfortable color. The inside of the door I want to paint a color that doesn't get dirty and is calming to look at while closed. The place is going to be used as a place to escape the outside word.

I would paint your walls a turquoise green and your door a deep turquoise blueish(sp?)-green. Yea, that would do it, in my humble opinion. Happy painting!
Reply:The cool colors (blue, green, purple) are proven to be the most calming of colors. All three would match well together so a combination of them for the walls and door would work.

The lighter the color, the more calming. As for the inside of the door... if you don't want it to look dirty, I recommend a darker shade of blue, which is still calming.
Reply:choose aquamarine or turquise because they are calming colors or chose youre favorite color(s)
