What would it be like inside a garden shed with the door closed and no windows?

I'm thinking about using a garden shed as a place to relax and have privacy. The shed has battery operated lanterns. I will paint the walls green or blue. The inside of the door will be painted sky blue, green, dark blue or aqua.

The floors are made of wood and have rugs covering the wood.

Inside will also be a cot for naps. A comforable chair will also be inside.

How would it be to be inside and read for two hours and the door would be closed? Would it be uncomfortable? What about taking an afternoon nap inside with the door closed?

Many people think I should get over being afraid to close the door to the shed.

Any suggestions?

Maybe you could have a skydome/skylight

or a window you could open, built into the roof of the shed. That way you may not be bothered so much by having the door shut.
Reply:Feels like very comfy to me. Shutting out everything in busy and hectic daily lives.
Reply:It sounds like you probably feel claustrophobic when the door is shut. Unless you want to add windows to the shed, another way to minimize your fear is by shutting the door for short periods at a time. Eventually you will work up to staying inside for longer periods and maybe you will even overcome the fear completely.
