i have a garden shed that is 2 by 3 m big and as i do some soldering inside (i am a audio repairer) i need to use a 12v 10inch thermo fan that is screwed to my sheds wall that expels the smell of the solder so what 12v transformer do i need to power the fan properly?

You will need a transformer that is as big as the fan wattage.
Most times it is cheaper to buy a new fan.
